Instruction
at Two Dog draws from many traditions and teachers of Hatha
Yoga. The teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar are at the foundation
of most of our teachers' backgrounds. It emphasizes structural
alignment, use of props to augment hard-to-achieve poses,
and careful attention to sequencing of poses. Other influences
include John Friend and his Anusara "flowing with grace" yoga
teachings, Judith Lasater and her work emphasizing restorative
poses and
"living your yoga," and Donald Moyer and his study of the
body in asana.
We
encourage you to "drop in" while exploring the right fit
for you in time and teacher, and then sign up for one or
more weekly classes.
